Hi loves, today’s post is about the books I really want to get to this Spring.
I have been in a slump since January, basically, but now I’m slowly getting out of it. So, to get myself excited, I decided to go through my shelves and browse on goodreads for books that I really want to read in Spring!
My focus will be on books that I already own – especially ones I have started – and standalones, because they’re quicker to go through, and will help me reduce my TBR pile.
Alright, let’s get into it…
Soundless by Richelle Mead
I got this book when it came out, because everyone was super excited about it, and it sounded interesting.
However, I always either have more exciting stuff to read, or I am in a reading slump…
It’s a shame, but I’m fixing it this Spring!! It’s quite thin either way, so it probably won’t take look to finish it!
The Crown by Kiera Cass
I love the Selection series, and I would have finished it long ago, if I hadn’t made the huge mistake of starting to read it in the Portuguese version…
I have been waiting for The Crown to be translated since last May or something like that. It’s ridiculous!!! I could just buy The Crown in English, but I’m already used to reading about the characters in Portuguese, and that would actually look horrible in my shelves hahaha
Winger by Andrew Smith
I started reading this book during the summer, but then I stopped (don’t know why), so I really want to finish it.
I remember thinking that the main character was funny, so I’ll probably enjoy this one!!
Finding Audrey by Sophie Kinsella
I bought this book when it first came out, and then I admired how beautiful it was, put it on the shelf and never picked it up… why? I don’t know!
I know I’ll probably love it too, so I need to just pick it up already
The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas
This should be on everyone’s list this year. It’s a very important read, about a very serious and actual topic.
I have this one in ebook format, and I’ll probably read it within the next month or so.
Furthermore by Tahereh Mafi
Shatter Me is one of my favorite series, and when I heard that Tahereh was coming out with a new book, I immediately ordered it. But guess what? It got here, and I still haven’t picked it up… shocker, I know hahaha
It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover
I read a Colleen Hoover book towards the end of 2016, and fell in love with her as a writer. So, I bought a ton of her books, and my friend bought me the latest one, It Ends With Us. However, since I got
The Heart of Betrayal by Mary E. Pearson
I read The Kiss of Deception last year, and I loved it, but I never picked up the rest of the series. Since I want to finish all the series that I started, I really want to pick up The Heart of Betrayal, and also The Beauty of Darkness!!
And I Darken by Kiersten White
This is a book I started this January, but then school started and I had to read other books, so I let this one go *cries*
I was actually enjoying it, so I really want to finish it!! Also, the second book comes out in June, so I really should read this one before then…
Always and Forever, Lara Jean
If you know me, you know Jenny Han is one of my favorite authors, and that I loooooove the To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before series. So, I am extremely excited for the last book in the trilogy to come out.
It’s pre-ordered, and as soon as it gets here I am reading it immediately!!
Alright guys, that’s all for today’s post.
Definitely let me know in the comments what you plan to read this Spring, I’d love to know!!
See you on my next post ♡
