Hello everyone! Welcome to another Top 5 Tuesday post – a weekly meme hosted by Shanah over at Bionic Book Worm. This week’s prompt is all about auto-buy authors, and I’m very excited to share my list with you!!

Let’s get on with it…

5.

Huntley Fitzpatrick

img_0397Fitzpatrick wrote two of my favorite contemporary romances: My Life Next Door and The Boy Most Likely To, which definitely makes her an auto-buy author.

She currently has three books out, plus a short story – which I will soon read and review -, all of which I own. Apparently, there is a new book coming in Fall 2018, and you can bet I will pre-order it!

4.

Rainbow Rowell

img_0399Fangirl is one of my favorite books, and Eleanor & Park is the book that got me into reading. That being the case, of course Rainbow Rowell had to be on this top 5.

She has a few books out, and I own them all – yesterday I ordered the two short stories that just came out!! I really love her books, they’re just so heartwarming.

I will admit, though, I haven’t read them all, but the ones I have were 4+ stars!

3.

Jenny Han

img_0398You might not know this, but Jenny Han is one of my all-time-favorite authors.

I own all of her books, even the ones she co-wrote with Siobhan Vivian (although I’ve yet to read those) and her first ever book, Shug.

I would say my #1 favorite contemporary books are her Summer trilogy. I read all three of them in one weekend, and I was basically crying the whole time – that’s how emotionally invested I am in those books.

Her To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before trilogy is also amazing. To be honest, anything she writes is freaking amazing, I gave all of them 4+ stars, except for Shug (3 stars).

2.

Tahereh Mafi

img_0400If you know me, you know Warnette is one of my favorite OTPs ever.

Tahereh is definitely in my top 3 authors right now, I LOVE her books. I own and have read all of them, and enjoyed every last word.

Whichwood, her latest book, is coming out this month and I could NOT be more excited!! Too bad the paperback version only comes out in December, and I really want that edition, so it can match Furthermore *cries*

1.

Sarah J. Maas

img_0396If you’ve seen my Instagram feed, and are familiar with some of my posts, you know Sarah J. Maas is my queen. I own every book of hers, and have read 6 out of the 10.

I’ve thoroughly read her A Court of Thorns and Roses series – well, the ones that have been released so far – and, if you’ve read my reviews for them, you’ll know I absolutely DEVOURED them all. My favorite series at the moment, by far.
You can read my reviews for her books here.

I am currently making my way through her Throne of Glass series, which I am loving, but have a feeling it will wreck me, emotionally speaking.

I get super invested in her books, so I’m slightly terrified

So those are my top 5 auto-buy authors, which also roughly translates to my top 5 author list, if I’m being honest. What are yours?

Thank you for reading,
I’ll see you in my next post ♡
