Hi, everyone! This is a catch-up post, since I haven’t been able to post anything for the last week. I hope you enjoy my answers! 🙂
Day 22: Tell us a little about your writing
I don’t write outside the academic environment, so I don’t really have an answer to this haha I apologize for being uninteresting 😛
Day 23: How did you get into reading?
I was highly influenced by the booklr and booktube communities to start reading. I didn’t start reading until I was 18 or so, when I decided to buy Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell (partly because of the gorgeous cover). It was the first book I read entirely, and the one that made me fall in love with reading.
Day 24: Have you read a book that was really hyped up but you didn’t enjoy?
Paper Towns by John Green. I couldn’t even finish it, didn’t like it at all haha I did enjoy the movie though, but the ending is the stupidest thing, I really don’t know why people like Paper Towns.
Day 25: Do you prefer physical books, Ebooks or audiobooks? (/there is no wrong answer)
I definitely prefer physical books, but I read from my iPad quite often. The perks of Ebooks, in my experience, are the fact that you can carry 500 books around within one tiny little tablet, and that I actually read faster from an Ebook than I do from a physical book. Don’t ask me why, but it is true 😀 Nothing beats holding a book in your hands, though <3
Day 26: Free space (Ask any question you want)
I’ll leave this to any of you who want to ask me a question! Leave it in the comments, and I will answer it for you 🙂
Day 27: Name a book that you own starting with (Pick a letter). Have you read it?? Did you like it? If you haven’t read it, are you looking forward to it?
(I asked my dad for a letter and he said ‘R’) I picked Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard, which I, sadly, haven’t read. I am definitely looking forward to it, though. I’ve been hearing amazing things every since it came out, and I’ve pretty much had it on my shelves since then, but have yet to pick it up 🙁 Maybe in 2018? Hopefully!
Day 28: The first book that comes to mind, tell us about it. Rant.
The Dinner by Herman Koch, my current read. Everyone says it’s an amazing and thrilling read, but the truth is I read about 100 pages and literally nothing happened, besides the narrator describing the restaurant and the food and the waitresses. However, something finally happened after all, and it was rather unexpected. I had no idea this was where the book was headed, so now I’m intrigued. But oh my god was the beginning slow!!
