For this week, we’re talking about the books on our bucket lists for the new year, so I’m super hyped because I’m going to be talking about very anticipated books, and also some books I’ve wanted to read forever ☺️
Let’s get right into the books…
5. The Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson
This is a book that has been on my shelves since I first started reading. EVERYONE raves about Brandon Sanderson’s books, especially this series in specific, so I’ve wanted to read it for a while.
It has to happen this year, and maybe I’ll even binge read the whole trilogy if I like it enough 😀
It would be great if I could get to it because it would count for my Beat the Blacklist challenge 😛
4. The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater
Like the Mistborn trilogy, the Raven cycle series has been on my TBR for years.
This is another very well loved series, and I actually own all four books, so all I have to do is sit down and FUCKING READ THEM FOR GOD’S SAKE
Why am I the way that I am 🙁
3. Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor
Strange the Dreamer has been extremely raved about ever since it first came out. Apparently it’s very well-written and the story is fascinating… and can we talk about this cover??
I got it when it came out and never got to it… surprise surprise 😀
2. Restore Me by Tahereh Mafi
If you’ve been here for a while, you know one of my top 3 series is the Shatter Me series – it used to be a trilogy but NOW WE GET MORE BOOKS LORD HELP ME – by Tahereh Mafi.
I can’t even put into words how excited I am about this, honestly. I am avoiding anything related to it because people have gotten samplers and I do NOT want to get spoiled for anything.
When this comes out, I’ll read curl up in bed and read it in one sitting, I don’t care about anything going on around me 😀 I miss reading about Warnette ♡
1. A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J. Maas
Obviously, this had to be right on the top of my bucket list.
Sarah J. Maas has fast become my all-time favorite author, so this book is at the top of everything in my life, basically 😀
I can’t wait to see what Maas does with this book, and I am beyond excited to get my hands on it.
On another note, why the hell do we not have a cover yet?? It comes out in May and it’s January like… Bloomsbury what you doing?
Let me know all about your 2018 bucket list down in the comments!
Thank you for reading,
I’ll see you in my next post ♡
